Bao buns:: 2 pkgplanets pride bao buns 270g (6x45g, frozen); 2 pkgchrispy chicken; 4 pkgsatay sauce; 1 pkgsalted peanuts; 1 spring onion; a pinch of salt; 2 dlwater

Heat oil in a pan and fry the chicken fillets over medium heat until crispy. Remove to paper towels to drain any excess oil.

Now you need to prepare a homemade steamer. If you have a food steamer at home, use it according to its instructions. The cooking times are the same for both methods. Put a pot of water on the fire. The water should be a few cm deep in the pot. Place a sieve on top. The sieve should not touch the water.

Make squares the size of a bao bun from baking paper. Place the bao bun with the baking paper on the sieve and cover with either a lid, foil or plate. The less steam that escapes from the edges, the better. Place 1-3 bao buns on the sieve, depending on the size of the sieve and the pot. Steam them inside for 7-9 minutes, until the bun has risen slightly and become fluffy. Repeat the same process until all the buns have been steamed. Make sure that the water in the pot does not run out.

Chop the green onions.

Meanwhile, heat the satay sauce in a pot and slice the chicken.

Once all the ingredients are ready, place the satay sauce, crispy chicken slices, peanuts, and green onions between the buns.
