- Casserole:
- 1 tbspoil
- 1 pkgpotatoes
- 2 onion
- 2 garlic clove
- 2 pkgPizza ham
- 1.5 tspsalt
- 0.5 tspblack pepper
- cream + 1 dl water
- a pinch of salt
- a pinch of black pepper
- 1 pkgdried thyme
- 1 pkggrated cheese
- Salad:
- 1 pkgfrillice salad
- 1 cucumber
- 2 pkgsalad dressing
If you want the dish to cook faster, boil the potato slices for about 5 minutes before adding them to the baking dish.
- 1Preheat the oven to 225°C. Grease a large oven dish with oil.
- 2Peel or scrub the potatoes thoroughly. Slice them thinly and place them in the dish. Peel and finely chop the onion and garlic, then add them in. Add the diced ham to the mixture. Season with salt and black pepper.
- 3Pour the cream into a small saucepan, rinse the cartons with water, and add that as well. Season with salt, black pepper, and dried thyme. Bring to a boil, then pour the mixture over the potatoes and ham. Sprinkle grated cheese evenly on top. Place the dish in the oven and bake for about 45–55 minutes, or until the potatoes are tender.
- 4Rinse and tear the lettuce into a bowl. Rinse and dice the cucumber, then add it to the salad. Season with salad dressing.
- 5Let the ham and potato casserole rest for a few minutes before serving.
- 6Serve the casserole with the salad.
