- Pasta:
- 1 onion
- 3 garlic clove
- 1 pkgcherry tomatoes
- 1 pkghalloumi cheese
- 2 pkgbacon
- 1 tbspoil
- 0.5 tspsalt
- 0.5 tspblack pepper
- 2 pkgpaprika powder
- 2 pkgdried oregano
- 1 pkgcream + a splash of water
- In addition:
- 1 pkgspaghetti
- 1Bring water to a boil for the pasta. Cook the pasta in salted water about 8-10 minutes. Drain well and toss with a little oil.
- 2Peel and finely chop the onion and garlic cloves. Wash and halve the cherry tomatoes.
- 3Dice the halloumi cheese. Chop the bacon.
- 4Heat a frying pan with oil. Add the halloumi cubes to the hot pan and fry, stirring, for about 4–5 minutes. Transfer to a plate and set aside.
- 5Reheat the same pan and add the bacon. Fry, stirring, for about 3–4 minutes.
- 6Add the onions and cherry tomatoes to the pan and continue frying briefly. Season with salt, black pepper, paprika powder, and dried oregano.
- 7Pour in the cream. Rinse the carton with water and add it to the pan as well. Bring to a boil and simmer for about 5 minutes.
- 8After the sauce has simmered for about 5 minutes, stir in the cooked pasta and the halloumi cheese.
- 9Serve the pasta immediately.
