- Pasta:
- 2 onion
- 3 garlic clove
- 1 pkgbaby spinach
- 1 pkgraw sausages
- 2 tbspoil
- 1 tspsalt
- 1 tspblack pepper
- 1 pkgdried oregano
- 1 pkgchili powder
- 1 pkgtomato paste
- 1 pkgcream + a splash of water
- In addition:
- 1 pkgspaghetti
- 1 tbspoil
- 2 pkgpasta cheese
- 1Bring water to a boil for the pasta.
- 2Peel and finely chop the onion and garlic cloves. Rinse the spinach in a colander under cold water and leave to drain.
- 3Cook the pasta according to the package instructions. Drain well and mix with a little oil.
- 4Heat a frying pan with some oil. Add the sausages to the pan. Fry, stirring, for about 4–5 minutes.
- 5Remove the sausages from the pan and chop them.
- 6Add the sausages back to the pan, add the onions as well, and fry for a few minutes, stirring.
- 7Season with salt, black pepper, dried oregano, chili powder and tomato paste. Continue frying for a few more minutes.
- 8Pour the cream into the pan, rinse the carton with water, and add the water as well. Bring to a boil and let simmer for a few minutes.
- 9Mix the cooked pasta and spinach into the sauce. Heat through quickly.
- 10Serve the Italian sausage pasta with pasta cheese.
